◆ Cosmetic · Tier 2 · Breakout

Composite bonding,
the smallest intervention possible.

A minor chip, a small gap, a slightly worn edge — none of this requires veneers. Composite bonding is direct, minimally invasive, completed in a single visit, and fully reversible. Our default recommendation for cases that ask for a small cosmetic correction rather than a full smile redesign.

When bonding is the right answer

Five good indications.

01

Edge chipping

Small fractures on incisal edges — typically from night-time grinding or accidental trauma.

02

Small gaps (diastema)

Narrow spaces between anterior teeth that do not warrant orthodontic treatment.

03

Discoloured fillings

Old amalgam or stained composite replaced with shade-matched modern composite.

04

Worn canines

Attrition from grinding — restored additively without preparing the underlying tooth.

05

Minor shape correction

Re-contouring a slightly misshapen lateral or softening a pointed canine.

When it is not the answer

Large reshaping, full smile redesign, heavily worn teeth with bite issues — those need veneers, orthodontics, or occlusal management. We will tell you which.

Process — one visit

Ninety minutes. One appointment. No anaesthetic required.

Cleaned and isolated. Etched. Primed. Composite layered in — shade, translucency and contour built by hand against your adjacent teeth. Light-cured. Shaped, polished, checked in occlusion. You walk out.

Typical lifespan: 5–7 years before minor polishing or refreshment is needed. Stain can be polished off. Chips can be locally rebuilt.

Send a photo. We will tell you whether bonding is enough — or whether it is not.

◆ Aftercare · what happens when you fly home

Your treatment does not end at the airport.

Every patient leaves GC Clinic with a written warranty, a complete records pack in PDF for any UK dentist, and a structured WhatsApp follow-up schedule (24h · 72h · 1 week · 1 month · 3 months · 6 months · 12 months). Annual video review with Dr. Öztürk is standard. If a covered complication occurs in the warranty period, our “we fly you back” clause — written in your treatment agreement, not a marketing phrase — covers the return flight, hotel and corrective treatment.

◆ Aftercare · what happens when you fly home

Even for direct composite bonding, our in-house lab contributes a digital wax-up and a silicone matrix so the clinician layers composite against a designed reference. Freehand is not the only option.
